Product Returns and Exchanges

Fortunately, ViewGuard® products can be returned or exchanged within 28 days of the order date (regardless of the date you received the product shipment) provided they are in brand new condition. Products deemed return eligible by ViewGuard® will receive a refund minus original shipping and handling fees, return shipping fees, applicable discounts, and a 15% restocking fee. Defective products and products not in brand new condition cannot be returned and may only be exchanged for the exact same product within 10 days of the date the product left our warehouse (regardless of the date you received the product shipment). All returned or exchanged merchandise must be sent to ViewGuard® in original factory condition complete with all packaging materials, inserts, manuals, warranty cards (not completed), accessories, and a completed copy of the Merchandise Return Form or the Merchandise Exchange Form. We recommend that all product returns and exchanges be secured in rigid packaging and shipped via a traceable and insured shipping method in order to best avoid lost, misdirected, and/or damaged in-transit products. Please do not tape or write anything on the product or its packaging as there may be a charge for the replacement of damaged, altered, missing, or defaced shipment contents or cartons.

Please also include your order number on the shipment packaging so we are able to connect the product return or exchange with the order we have on file. ViewGuard® reserves the right to refuse any product returns or exchanges.

 

Return and Exchange Forms

The Packing Slip includes a Merchandise Return Form for your convenience. Additional copies of the Merchandise Return and Exchange Forms can be downloaded by clicking on the links below. Once the return or exchange item has been received by ViewGuard® you will receive an email notifying you that the shipment has arrived. If returning a product, within 3 to 6 business days you will receive a follow-up email with details regarding your return and refund. If exchanging a product, within 3 to 6 business days you will receive a follow-up email with details regarding your exchange including replacement product shipping details.

Product Return Criteria

In order for ViewGuard® to accept the product as a return eligible for a refund it must meet all applicable criteria listed below. If the returned product fails to do so it will be rejected by our Returns Processing Center and the product will be shipped back to you at your expense. Consequently, your RA (return authorization) will be nullified, any pending credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be accepted, and you will be charged for all applicable product shipping fees incurred by Intelligen LLC (ViewGuard®) to and from our Returns Processing Center. In shipping a return product in violation of this policy to ViewGuard® you hereby agree to accept the product back upon return denial and to incur the cost of the shipment to and from our Returns Processing Center.

Please note that return products must:

  1. Be in brand new and original condition
  2. Include the original packaging materials including inserts, manuals, and warranty cards (not completed)
  3. Include all product accessories
  4. Include a completed copy of the Merchandise Return Form (located on the Packing Slip or downloadable via the link provided above)

 

Basic Product Return Policy

  • Unless otherwise stated below, you have 28 days from the shipment date of your product (regardless of the date you received the product shipment) to send your return to ViewGuard®. The return need not arrive at our warehouse within 28 days, however it must be in the possession of the shipment carrier by the 28th day. There is no need to contact us for an RA (return authorization) number as one is not required to process your return, but please include a completed copy of the Merchandise Return Form with the shipment so we can properly process the product return.

  • All product returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee (except where prohibited by law), with the exception of defective products (please see our Special Returns Policy for Defective Products below).  

  • Return product shipment charges for returns sent to and from our Returns Processing Center are the responsibility of the customer, with the exception of defective products (please see our Special Returns Policy for Defective Products below).

  • Product orders that are returned to ViewGuard® due to undeliverable addresses or product refusal upon delivery will be refunded minus original shipping and handling fees, return shipping fees imposed by the shipping carrier, applicable discounts, and a 15% restocking fee. All other terms and conditions apply.

  • Upon acceptance by ViewGuard® that a product meets the basic criteria and basic return policy deeming a product eligible for return, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.  

  • Please allow up to 14 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) after shipment for your product return to arrive at our Returns Processing Center (delivery times vary amongst shipment providers). Product returns will be processed within 14 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) of shipment receipt. Please note that credit card companies determine when the issued credit is reflected on your statement. Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for paper statements and 1 to 2 weeks for online statements to display the returned funds. 

  • ViewGuard® will not accept unauthorized returns or exchanges. Product returns that do not meet our terms and conditions will be refused upon receipt at our warehouse. Additional charges may apply if the merchandise is not returned in 100% complete condition in the original, unopened, unaltered, undamaged packaging.

 

Special Return Policy

Custom Orders

Custom orders cannot be returned for a refund given their unique nature. However, we are happy to replace a custom order product if the product size differs from the height and width originally requested at the time of ordering. 

Defective Products

Defective products may be exchanged for the exact same product within 10 days of the date the product left our warehouse. In this case, the 15% restocking fee applied to all ViewGuard® product returns will be waived. In addition, the return product shipment charges for returns sent to and from our Returns Processing Center will be paid by ViewGuard®. Once ViewGuard® has received the return and has confirmed that the product is defective according to the criteria outlined above, your replacement product order will be sent to fulfillment and shipped according to product availability. Intelligen LLC (ViewGuard®) in its sole and absolute discretion shall determine whether a product is in fact defective.
